- Javanese people mostly live in Indonesia

- Bahasa Jawa is the main language of the Javanese to communicate each other

- Javanese is also presence in Malaysia and Singapore

- scholars divide the development of Javanese language in 4 different stages.

a) Old Javanese, 9th Century

b) Middle Javanese, 13th Century

c) New Javanese, 16th Century

d) Modern Javanese, 20th Century
